Thank you for visiting the Blue Sky Inspections, Inc. site. My background with remediation work started while I was in the Air Force.  Trying to make ends meet, I worked part-time with a local water damage restoration service company. After completing AF service, we moved back to Kansas City to be close to family. It was at that time I began working more on the commercial side. Experience includes water, fire, and mold services. 

Over the course of my career, I have obtained many certificates and a bachelor’s degree in business management. Certificates relating to mold testing & remediation are with IICRC – Water Restoration & Applied Microbial Remediation, PMII – Certified Mold Remediator, InterNachi Home Inspection Standard of Practice, and Mold Inspector.

The picture on the right is me, my wife, my son, and my daughter. My son has an HVAC business, New! Heating & Cooling, Inc.  Part of the equation in preventing mold through relative humidity (RH). When the home’s RH is not managed correctly, it can be helpful to install a whole-house dehumidifier. My daughter has a full-time job elsewhere but helps with bookkeeping tasks.
